Erick Burton Ministries is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and it is conducting this raffle to raise funds on behalf of TLGF for ongoing charitable purposes. The Rules and Regulations of E.B Ministries and TLGF raffle are the following. By purchasing a raffle ticket the purchaser agrees to be bound by these rules and regulations:
Drawing
Early Bird drawings will be held on various stages: The first early bird drawing will take place when a total of 1000 tickets are sold. The second early bird drawing will take place when a total of 2000 tickets are sold The third early bird drawing will take place when a total of 4000 tickets are sold The fourth early bird drawing will take place when a total of 6000 tickets are sold (See Early Bird Prizes). All tickets entered in the early bird drawings will stay in the drawing for the remaining prizes.
The Grand Prize Drawing for E.B Ministry House Raffle will be held on Friday 29th of August 2008 beginning at 5 p.m. in Long Beach, CA 90815. The exact location of the drawing will be determined and announced on the tlgf house raffle website. Tickets will not be sold after 4pm on Friday August 29th 2008. Drawings may be held at an earlier date if tickets sell out by that date. An independent accounting firm will supervise the drawing. The drawing for prizes is open to the public, but the winner does not need to be present to win. E.B ministries and TLGF will inform the winners via mail, email and phone.
Tickets
Each ticket is $150. Only 10,000 tickets will be sold. The chances of winning are based on that number. If fewer tickets are sold, your chances of winning the Grand prize and other prizes improve.
Only one eligible person may be entered in the raffle per ticket sold. If the name of more than one person is submitted with a ticket purchase, and that ticket is selected as a winning ticket, then the person named first will be deemed the holder of record of that ticket and declared the winner. Division of prize by a group purchasing a ticket in common shall be to the sole responsibility of the person named as the holder of record of that ticket, should that ticket be selected as a winner.
PRIZE AWARDS IN EVENT OF NON-SELLOUT OF TICKETS:
If fewer than 8,000 tickets are sold by 4:00 pm Friday, August 29th 2008, the raffle will be held as scheduled and The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a cash prize equal to 50% of the net raffle proceeds which are defined as the balance of funds left after paying all early bird drawings and all raffle expenses (subject to applicable withholding of required taxes).

E.B ministry and TLGF reserve the right to reject any ticket order that is submitted with payment that does not constitute "good funds". All defective or physically altered order forms are subject to disqualification at the discretion of E.B Ministry and TLGF. Prior to the Grand Prize drawing TLGF will make a reasonable effort to notify any individual who submits such an entry form, or one which has been rejected because the credit card or check did not clear.
REFUNDS:
All raffle ticket sales are final. Tickets may not be changed, sold or transferred by the purchasing party or anyone else. No refunds will be made except 1) any ticket order received after 10,000 tickets have been sold or after the deadline of 4 pm Friday, Aug 29th, 2008. 2) In the event of raffle cancellation. No other refunds are available. E.B Ministries and TLGF assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines.
Grand Prize Fees and Tax Liabilities
If the House is chosen as the prize, the Grand Prize winner assumes all fees, local, state and federal taxes (including but not limited to income taxes based on the value of the house), financing costs (including, but not limited to, closing costs, title insurance, and transfer tax and fees) which must be paid when the House is transferred to the winner. Likewise, there are federal taxes and there may be state and/or local tax consequences if the winner selects the alternate cash prize. These consequences may apply to other prizes as well. E.B Ministries take no responsibility for any tax liabilities. Consult your tax advisor. This offer is void where prohibited by law, and all federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Eligibility:
Anyone 18 years of age or older may enter. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. An affidavit of eligibility may be required from prize winners.
Prizes:
The Grand Prize is a Luxury Condo with an appraised value of $ 350,000 located in Long Beach, California, 90815. Alternatively, the Grand Prize winner may elect to receive a cash prize of $ 150,000 (accept as stated below).
The Grand Prize winner must make an election in writing between the house and the cash alternate prize no later than 5:00 p.m. September 20th , 2008. A minimum of 10,000 tickets must be sold by 4pm, August 29th, 2008 for the Grand Prize winner to have a choice of the condo or the $ 150,000 cash alternate prize. If fewer than 8000 tickets are sold by 4 pm Friday, August 29th, 2008, the raffle will be held as scheduled with the exception that the Grand Prize winner will receive a sum equal to 50% of the net raffle proceeds. Net proceeds will be divided equally between TLGF and the Grand Prize Winner based on TLGF accounting, which shall be final and conclusive with respect to the Grand Prize Winner. For these purposes net proceeds are defined as the balance of funds left after paying all other prizes; all raffle expenses and all expenses for the Condo. At the option of E.B ministries and TLGF, the drawing date for the grand prize may take place earlier if all raffle tickets have been sold.
Early Bird Prizes:
First Early Bird Drawing: $500 cash awarded to 100 winners Second Early Bird Drawing: 42 inch Plasma Screen TV or $1000 cash awarded to 30 winners Third Early Bird Drawing: 2007 Sportster Harley Davidson or $7500 awarded to 2 winners Fourth Early Bird Drawing: Mercedes Benz C230 or $ 20,000 awarded to 1 winner.
E.B Ministry is a religious organization. According to penal Code Section 320.5 Charitable Raffles, The registration and reporting provisions of this section do not apply to any religious corporation sole or other religious corporation or organization that holds property for religious purposes, to a cemetery corporation regulated under Chapter 19 of division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, or to any committee as defined in Section 82013 that is required to and does file any pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 (commencing with section 84200) of Chapter 4 of Title 9, or to a charitable corporation organized and operated primarily as a religious organization, educational institution, hospital, or a health care service plan licensed pursuant to Section 1349 of the Health and safety Code.
